I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Hem skirt

Turn under 1cm(3/8") twice and stitch close to upper fold.

NB: If your hem is the selvedge of the fabric, you may fold once and stitch or if you like, even leave hem unfinished as it won't fray!
