I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Turn bias tape to outside of dress and pin

Flip bias tape over the seam allowance and pin to right side of dress. Half of the width of the bias tape can be seen from the outside, the other half is visible on the inside of the dress. The folded edge on the outside just barely covers the previous stitching line.

Repeat for other armhole.
