I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Make Darts on Front only

On one piece only (this will be the front) fold notches together. Backstitching at notches, stitch to dot as shown. Leave long thread tails when you finish stitching and tie these ends securely. Press dart downwards.

Darts are not sewn on the back.
