I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Stitch neckline

Stitch at 5mm (1/8") or along the unfolded crease on the binding. (In case it's not obvious from this photo, it's easiest to stitch from the wrong side or inside of the garment!)
