I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Stitch side seams

Stitch underarm and side seams RST, sewing up to the dot at the bottom of the side pocket as shown on the pattern. Take care to match seams at the contrast hem and sleeve trim. Clip curves, zigzag/serge to finish edges.
