I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Stitch side seams

With RS together, match underarm seams. Pin dress front to dress back at side seam. Pin lining front to lining back at side seam. Sew in one continuous line from dress side seam through shoulder to lining side seam. Repeat for other side. Press seams open.
