I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Join shoulders on outer fabric pieces

With right sides together, pin and stitch shoulder seams to join front to backs. (NB: Sew all seams at 1 cm seam allowance. I'll be referring to the black fabric as the dress or outer fabric and the white fabric as lining.)
