I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

For straps to attach tag to your suitcase...

If you're sewing a strap instead of using ribbon, cut a rectangle 32 x 6.5cm (12 x 2.5"). Fold to centre, then fold in half again. Stitch along open edge.
