I made three of these dresses, because they look more complicated to make than they really are. This is black linen with a bit of sashiko stitching - cool to wear in summer or over a tee shirt when the temperatures go down.

Stitch sleeve, underarm and side seams

With RST (right sides together), pin sleeve and side seams. Match the underarm seams together. On left side as worn*, stitch sleeve and side in one continuous seam.

* To distinguish between left and right side, imagine you are wearing the bodice to find the "left side as worn."
