Lay pattern piece on fold and cut one in outer fabric and one in inner fabric. ( I stack the fabrics, lining up the folds and cut both at once!)

Before removing pattern piece, mark dots (where snaps will go) with water erasable pen or tailors chalk. Make tiny 3mm snips at triangular notches.
